This workshop is in-person only, with 2 hours of online pre-work.

This workshop is designed to teach neighbors, family members, caregivers, co-workers, friends, pastors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help another adult who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.

During each training, participants will:

  • Identify common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges
  • Recognize common signs and symptoms of substance use challenges
  • Learn how to interact with a person in crisis and connect them with help
  • Be introduced to expanded content on trauma, substance use, and self-care.

Prior to class, participants are required to complete a 2 hour course online. A link for this pre-work course will be sent when your registration form is received. For questions and information about CEU’s, please contact Lisa Basci (BasciL@csgonline.org)
