    9:00 am - 4:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

This retreat day will relate to the Aramaic Jesus of the Christian Tradition while focusing on breath, vibrations, and movement. Learn spiritual practices using your breath, body, and voice to take home to incorporate into your daily living. The day will be highly experiential, doing with our bodies what we are learning with our minds. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how their physical bodies are directly related to God, and how God speaks to us through our bodies.

Chanting, centering prayer, and gentle yoga will give shape to a reflective posture for the retreat. The day will flow from the teaching of techniques, to instructor-led group practice, to individual time to reflect and internalize the techniques.

Lunch is included for all participants. This is a day retreat. Overnight stays must be arranged directly with the Jesuit Center for Spiritual Growth.

Spiritual Beings in Human Bodies Retreats

This series of three retreats, curated by Jean Lengacher, will focus on personal and cosmic awareness of the Human-Divine connectedness with one another and with our good Earth. We will explore what it means to live as holy beings who radiate light, vibration, wisdom and goodness. Sacred movement, prayers, and group reflection will inform the rhythm of these retreat days. The series can be enjoyed as a whole or individually.
