This workshop is live online via Zoom. A recording will also be available to registrants to view at their convenience.
Loss is a universal part of the human experience. Yet, we often avoid the topic of grief, and many of us lack the tools to navigate our grief. Grief is a common cause of loneliness and isolation, already some of the biggest known challenges facing Americans today, according to the U.S. Surgeon General.
This workshop is designed for anyone looking to support themselves or others through the aftermath of loss. It will help attendees develop a more expansive understanding of grief and how to support others, which, if we do it together, may reduce loneliness and isolation, cultivating a more empathetic and compassionate community. Although this workshop is focused on supporting those grieving the death of a loved one, the skills taught will be applicable to many of the other kinds of grief and loss we feel.
Participants will learn how to:
- Support themselves and others on their grief journey
- Develop personal healing rituals
- Cultivate emotional presence
