This workshop is live online via Zoom. A recording will also be available to registrants to view at their convenience.
Skills like healthy boundaries, mindfulness, and trauma awareness are helpful, but can be difficult to apply to real world volunteer, familial, and professional situations. This workshop will talk through hypothetical and audience suggested scenarios to help you apply your head-knowledge to your everyday life. Scenarios will include:
- how to balance physical safety with de-escalation techniques;
- handling personally triggering situations; and
- decision making and its fallout.
