We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Churches are highly vulnerable to cyber attacks and scams because:

  • They have highly desirable data including birthdates and contact information for their members.
  • A diverse and constantly changing group of people (including staff, volunteers, church members, and visitors) makes it easy for someone to pretend to be a regular member or staff person.
  • Pastors, staff, and volunteers are highly trusted, making them prime targets for scams.

You will learn:

  • Simple ways to protect congregants’ information
  • Tips for educating congregants on how to avoid scams and phishing
  • Sample policies for directories, websites, etc.
  • Transparent ways to communicate your policies

Learn how congregations can protect the information entrusted to them, and proactively  educate congregants to identify scams and protect themselves. Don’t let the hard work you’ve done building a community of trust be turned against you. This workshop is ideal for pastors, church administrators, lay leaders, and others who are entrusted with sensitive information and the policies around handling it.

Kate and Rhoda have worked with hundreds of churches during their time at PRC, advising on issues like photography policies, greeter training, church security, and more.
