We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

This workshop is live online via Zoom. A recording will also be available to registrants to view at their convenience.

Anyone living with or tasked with caring for children and youth can learn how to connect and communicate better by using a restorative practices lens. Restorative practices shift the focus from controlling and disciplining to repairing and preventing harm. Rob will cover the C’s of restorative practices and apply them to working with children:

  1. Connection
  2. Context
  3. Communication
  4. Currency and Competence
  5. Capacity
  6. Care
  7. Curiosity

Attendees will learn practical ways to put the C’s into practice – identifying a child’s competencies, building their capacity, being curious together, and more. Added together, these skills can allow caregivers to provide more meaningful care and raise more resilient children.

The workshop will include the opportunity and guidance for participants to develop their own plan of action. This workshop is appropriate for parents, grandparents, teachers, and others caring for children and youth.
