Mental Health First Aid Training provides an action plan that teaches you how to safely and responsibly identify and respond to signs of mental health issues and substance use challenges. It is an evidence-based training program administered by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, and is similar to CPR or First Aid training. Mental Health First Aiders are a vital link between someone experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis and connecting to appropriate, long-term supports. This training is accessible and appropriate for everyone.

This workshop is offered in partnership with Community Services Group out of Mountville, PA. CSG provides community-based mental health and intellectual & developmental disability services that empower individuals to reach their full potential.

Participants should bring their own brown bag lunch. A refrigerator and microwave are available.
