Do you often find yourself stuck about what to post on Facebook to promote your organization or event, or needing an eye-catching poster? Canva is a powerful and user-friendly online tool for graphic design – with free and affordable account options. Create striking social media posts, email graphics, posters, logos, and more. Canva includes a built-in library of stock images and graphics to enhance your work so there’s no more searching stock image sites or stumbling through copyright issues. Their large selection of templates can jump-start your creativity and take the guesswork out of sizing. The user-friendly interface means that anyone can quickly make modern, clean graphics.
Participants will learn to:
- Find and adapt free templates
- Find images and graphics within Canva, or upload your own
- Size and re-size designs to work for different uses
- Download, print, and integrate designs
- Basics of designing in Canva, including changing fonts, colors, styles, etc.
We will also discuss the differences between account options and the main features in each upgrade to help you decide which level might be right for you. A Canva account is not necessary to join the webinar; you will watch Rhoda work through a project. Use the recorded version of the webinar later to work through it on your own. Appreciate the powerful technology available at your fingertips!
