This workshop will be a live webinar through Zoom. A Zoom link will be included in an email sent to you after registration. Not able to attend on this date? Ask us how you can access a recording of the webinar.
Google Workspace (formerly called Google Suite) is included free with every Google/Gmail account. It includes programs to create word documents, spreadsheets, slideshows, online forms, and more. You can store, tag, and search your photos. It can back up documents, files, and photos from your computer and phone. Since everything is stored in the cloud, these files are available from any internet connection. Files are easily shared between users so you can share photos with your family, or jointly work on a presentation with a co-worker. You can use Google Workspace personally and professionally to:
- back up photos on your phone and computer, and make them accessible on all your devices
- share photos with the whole family in shared albums
- send forms to gather survey responses
- work on shared documents and spreadsheets with co-workers in real time
- create personal documents that go from computer to phone and back again
- keep contact information in one place, accessible from both phone and email account
- have video chat game nights with friends
- and more!
This workshop will give an overview of what Google Workspace includes and best practices for using them. Because Google Workspace is so large, this workshop will be tailored heavily to attendees’ interests and questions. Please submit your specific interests during registration. There will also be ample time for participants to ask questions live.
